“In romance, your understanding of love is shaped by the love you experienced.” This is so true. This is probably one of the biggest changes I experienced in the last 10 years, once I started dating. I slowly started to learn how to love, in a way that differed greatly from I saw growing up. Much more full of kindness, and patience, and empathy. More full of equality, and definitely more full of saying, “I love you.” And now that I’m married, my wife teaches me what it means to love and how to do it more and more each day. :)
