Great stuff Kelly! I tried all the dating apps as well. My wife and I met through Craigslist of all places. She had an open room in her apartment and I saw it listed on Craigslist when I was apartment hunting. I went to view the apartment, and when she opened the door, I swear The Drifters song “This Magic Moment” was playing somewhere nearby. Five years later and it’s still magical 🥰. We’re all on our own timeline — my wife was in her late 30s when we met and we had our daughter in her 40s. We both needed most of our 30s to grow and mature. I was working on self- love and being able to communicate my feelings — if we’d met before that growth happened, it wouldn’t have worked out for us.
